Changelog

Meaningful improvements to report accuracy, usefulness and the experience around them. We keep this page concise and leave internal implementation details out.

ACCURACY

Better market detection for businesses worldwide

  • The analyzer now recognizes over 130 countries when working out which market a business actually serves, reading it directly from what the site itself says. Coverage previously skewed toward larger markets.
  • This matters most for businesses in Southeast Asia, Africa, Central America, the Balkans and the Pacific: keywords, search results and competitors are now measured in the right country instead of a guessed one.
IMPROVEMENT

Reports you can print or save as PDF

  • Every unlocked report now has a Print / PDF action, and prints as a clean document: light background, readable type, charts intact and nothing cut mid-card.
  • Previously the report was built to be read on screen, and printing it could produce blank sections. That's fixed.
REPORT

Better at telling local businesses from national ones

  • The audit now looks harder at how a business actually sells before deciding whether it is location-dependent. A company that ships nationwide, or serves customers remotely, is no longer treated as a neighbourhood business just because its website lists an address.
  • For businesses that are not local, the searches we test are national and the local-competitors block is left out. For genuinely local businesses that were previously missed, the local view is now included.
  • Reports already delivered are not changed. New audits use the improved detection.
IMPROVEMENT

Clearer answers when a site can’t be read

  • Some websites cannot be read by an automated audit: they may be offline, unusually slow, protected against automated readers, or serving an invalid certificate.
  • When that happens the progress screen now says so plainly, instead of appearing to keep working.
  • A single step takes you back to where you started, so you can check the address and try again.
IMPROVEMENT

The quality guarantee, where the decision happens

  • The 14-day quality guarantee is now stated next to every point in the report where you decide to unlock it, rather than only in the terms.
  • When a discount is active, the list price and the current price are shown together, so the comparison is always explicit.
REPORT

A more honest visibility score

  • Searches for your own brand no longer count toward the unbranded visibility score. Appearing first for your own name is expected — counting it inflated a number meant to measure whether people who don’t know you yet can find you.
  • The search panel now lists real positions and marks your own result in its own row, so the comparison against who ranks above you is direct.
REPORT

French, and reading sites in their own language

  • French joins Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian across the site, the report and checkout.
  • Websites are now read in the language of the report rather than defaulting to Spanish, which improves what the audit understands about non-Spanish sites.
  • Fixed a case where the visibility gauge could display zero on a report that had measured results.
WOODY 4.0

A redesigned report

  • The report has been rebuilt around how it is actually read: chapter navigation, and a clearer separation between what was measured and what to do about it.
  • Your homepage now appears inside the report as a real screenshot of what was analysed.
  • Reports created before the redesign can be regenerated in the new format from the report itself.
  • A report can now be shared through a private link, so a colleague or client can read the same findings.
  • The substance is unchanged: the same evidence, the same measurements, the same guardrails on what the report will and will not claim.
IMPROVEMENT

More useful first actions

  • Report guidance now distinguishes more carefully between information a business controls and external signals it can only observe.
  • Early action steps provide a clearer path from verified findings to content that search engines can discover.
  • Ready-to-use materials now offer clearer practical guidance when an implementation step needs more context.
REPORT

A clearer 30-day path forward

  • Reports now offer a structured path for strengthening how a business can be understood and verified across AI-assisted discovery.
  • The guidance adapts to the business, its market reach and the signals available in the audit.
  • When information is limited, the report stays explicit about what could and could not be tailored.
IMPROVEMENT

Action plans for more starting points

  • Action plans now adapt more gracefully to businesses with different amounts and patterns of measurable activity.
  • A verified lack of search visibility can become a concrete starting path instead of withholding the plan.
  • The action inventory and customer-facing guarantee now reflect only recommendations supported by the report’s evidence.
WOODY 1.2

A diagnosis you can understand at a glance

  • The first half of the report is now called Diagnosis, reflecting its role more clearly.
  • A new closing exhibit explains the measured situation in two natural-language paragraphs written for the specific business.
  • The summary can use verified market context and concrete search examples, while withholding locations and claims that were not sufficiently corroborated.
  • It remains separate from the action plan and never estimates traffic, sales or future results.
WOODY 1.1

Stronger facts, safer recommendations

  • Business identity now prioritizes first-party brand evidence and rejects article titles as company names.
  • Searches follow the website’s primary language, while the report itself keeps the language selected by the user.
  • Structured data suggestions only include an address when it was observed on the business’s own website.
  • Conflicting observations are reconciled before the report is published.
  • Search results and verified direct competitors are now clearly distinguished.
WOODY2

More reliable implementation materials

Improved the report’s ready-to-use materials, entity plausibility checks, language consistency and data-driven widgets. Added a practical recurring market-check routine.

WOODY

Evidence first, action second

Introduced the two-part report: a verifiable evidence section followed by a prioritized playbook tied directly to what was measured.

REPORT

Your brand search and customer questions

Added a visual breakdown of what appears when customers search for the business by name, plus the real questions surfaced by Google for its market.

ACCURACY

A stricter evidence contract

Strengthened identity, location and claim reconciliation across the report. Limited-evidence sites now degrade honestly instead of filling gaps with confident assumptions.

SPEED

More analysis happens in parallel

Reworked the report pipeline so search, AI, competitor and synthesis tasks can run concurrently, reducing long waits without removing report sections.

COMPETITORS

Better matching by business scale

Competitor discovery began accounting for the audited company’s scale and customer type, reducing comparisons between small specialist businesses and unrelated global platforms.

GUIDES

A broader AI visibility knowledge base

Expanded the guide library with practical resources for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI visibility measurement and the differences between GEO, SEO and AEO.

GUIDES

Clear guidance for AI crawlers

Published a practical guide to controlling training and search crawlers without accidentally making a website invisible to AI-powered search.

MEASUREMENT

Tracking visits from AI assistants

Added a guide to measuring AI-referred traffic in Google Analytics while explaining why referral traffic alone understates AI recommendations.

GUIDES

An evidence-based look at llms.txt

Published a practical assessment of what llms.txt can and cannot do, separating current crawler behavior from unsupported SEO promises.

CHECKOUT

Clearer pricing before checkout

Moved the unlock action higher on smaller screens and made discounts shown before checkout match the price calculated by the payment provider.

REPORT UX

Long reports became easier to explore

Added collapsible report modules and mobile-friendly search-result sections, while keeping the verdict and unlock decision immediately visible.

CHECKOUT

A better explanation before payment

Introduced a concise pre-checkout summary showing exactly what the one-time unlock includes before opening the payment window.

EMAIL

Smarter report reminders

Improved reminder timing and purchase safeguards so report owners can return to unfinished audits without buyers receiving irrelevant follow-ups.

PRICING

More consistent regional offers

Added country-aware offer controls and saved the applicable pricing context with each report, making later visits more consistent.

CUSTOM AUDITS

A guided request for complex websites

Introduced a four-step custom-audit request for projects that need a broader brief, page scope, objectives and budget beyond the instant report.

RELIABILITY

Faster queues and clearer submission errors

Prioritized customer-initiated reports over background work and fixed form errors that could previously fail without a useful message.

REPORT

A clearer free diagnosis

Expanded the free evidence available in reports while keeping detailed implementation material in the optional one-time unlock.

QUALITY

More resilient analysis and cleaner mobile reports

Improved handling of blocked or malformed website responses, reduced incorrect location fallbacks and fixed several mobile overflow issues.

SHARING

Reports became embeddable

Added an embed mode for placing reports inside third-party websites, with simplified sharing code and protections against iframe loops.

NAVIGATION

A sticky table of contents

Added a persistent report index so readers can move between the verdict, search evidence, competitors, technical findings and action plan.
